Meet the Founder
Lakisha Brooks-Ellis is a technology strategist and curriculum innovator with broad experience in web development, IT systems, and digital transformation. She holds a BS in Business–Management Information Systems from San Jose State University and an MBA from San Francisco State University.
Lakisha created a Data Science & AI curriculum that is now used across multiple colleges — equipping students for a rapidly changing digital world. She is also a college professor, a long-time K–12 coding instructor, and the author of Internet Safety and Website Building for Kids.
A Berkeley native based in Oakland, Lakisha combines decades of hands-on experience with a passion for community-focused technology education. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with friends and family.
